Raffles start on Tuesday night – $2 per square
Starting next Aggregate Competition Night (13 March), door raffles will resume…with a difference.
We will now run them over a month, or until the 100-only spaces sellout, on our ‘100-club’ board. We will draw the winner out on the following competition night. Each space will cost $2. You will be invited to write your name and phone number into the unused square of your choosing.
The prize will be better value, photographic in nature and useful to most people.
Our first raffle will be for a Vanguard travel monopod. These are great, giving you an extra stop, or two, with the stability provided.
These raffles will greatly assist our Society’s fundraising needs.
Please bring $2 coins with you!

Entries for the TPS Members’ Exhibition 19-23 March – Toowoomba CUA
Members, please bring along any print image, for display at the Exhibition, to our next Aggregate Competition night (Tuesday 13th March).
The exhibition will run from the 19th to the 23rd March in the CUA offices, Ruthven Street Toowoomba CBD. Images, including frames and mats, should be no larger than 16″ x 20″ in size, black preferable (but if in frames, white is acceptable).
If bringing along in a frame, to sell, please include the pricing and your name on the reverse side (a small, neatly printed card/paper suggesting the artist, the name of the print, the pricing etc, would be appropriate).

TPS Club Meeting – 13 March 2018
Our next club meeting is at 7:00pm this coming Tuesday, 13th March 2018. There have been 106 images submitted by 36 club members for our March 2018 Aggregate Competition which will be judged this evening by John Stewart.
There are two Set Subject for this month:
- Doors/Windows
- Landscape
We look forward to catching up with you all this evening.

TPS Skills Night – 27 February 2018
Our next TPS Skills Night is on next Tuesday, 27 February 2018 at 7:00pm. Our guest speaker on this night is Sid Owen from Owens Studio who will speak about studio portraiture.
For this month the Image Challenge is “Negative Space”. TPS Field Day – Studio Shoot, 25 February 2018
The TPS Field Day for this month is a Studio Shoot with Sid Owen at Owen Studio, 169 James St, Toowoomba on Sunday, 25 February 2018 – between 2:00pm and 4:00pm.
This field day is limited to 15 club members at a cost of $5 each – to meet the cost of a model for the shoot. At the time of this post there remain 6 places – this shoot is aimed at beginners in studio photography. TPS Cosplay Photoshoot – 17 February 2018 – now cancelled
The COSPLAY Photography event, scheduled for Saturday 17th February, has been cancelled by the event coordinator, due to a lack of interest by their membership.
