A TPS Field Day will be held at the Toowoomba Showgrounds (Glenvale Road, Glenvale) on the 22nd and 23rd June 2024. The Toowoomba Jump Club are holding two one day events on this weekend – dressage and jumping on the Saturday (22 June) and cross-country on the Sunday (23 June).
The Toowoomba Jump Club have approved our attendance to photograph these events. On Saturday TPS participants will meet at 9am at the Toowoomba Jump Club room (near the sheep dog trial area at the south of the showgrounds – there will be parking in the area). Kylie Schooley, President of TJC will explain the safety requirements for the day. The dressage will be held in the morning and the jumping in the afternoon – both will be held in the showground arena. Photographers can only photograph from outside the arena for these events.
On the Sunday we will meet again with Kylie Schooley at 7:30am at the TJC rooms. Again the safety requirements for the cross-country events and preferred location for photographers will be detailed. The cross-country events are held on the eventing course to the south of the showground area.
There will be professional photographers also at this event. They will be selling images to participants. We are not to sell our images to participants although the Toowoomba Jump Club might like a small number of images for their use on social media.
TPS members intending to attend either or both days need to register their attendance by completing and submitting a Field Days attendance form. This form is still being created and once finalised will be made available to members.
