The next Toowoomba Photographic Society Field Day for members is planned for Saturday, 5 September 2026. This will be held at Round 3 of the Australian Super Truck Racing Series at Morgan Park Raceway, 228 Old Stanthorpe Road, Warwick. We will meet inside the entrance to the Raceway at 9am on Saturday, 5 September 2026. The event runs from 7am to 8pm on that day.
More information on this even can be found at https://www.australiansupertrucks.com.au/ and also on the Morgan Park Raceway website at https://www.morganparkraceway.com.au/event/supertrucks-race-weekend. Entry to the event at the gate is $20 ($18 if you purchase entry on-line via the Morgan Park Raceway link above).
Three prizes have been donated for this event – a framed print from the event for the photographers with the following photos:
- Best Action Shot
- Aesthetically Pleasing Subject
- Photojournalistic Capture
This will be a great opportunity to practice your event photography and panning skills – maybe even images for the upcoming Round 2 of the Trans-Tasman Challenge (to be captured between the 1 September and 30 October) – more details on that in a future post from our website.
