Congratulations to John Stewart awarded the Alice Black Memorial Award for this month for his print “Spinifex and stone”. Our judge Stephan Labuschagne APSEM, EFIAP, EPSA, FPSSA PSQA commented that ‘the image brings together story, light, emotion and impact’. John’s image now is in the running for the overall Alice Black memorial Award to be announced in December 2026.

Congratulations also to Vickki Schonfeld, awarded the September 2026 Graham Burstow Memorial Award for her image “Waves in the sky”. Our judge Stephan Labuschagne APSEM, EFIAP, EPSA, FPSSA PSQA commented that this image has strong impact, with lovely light, contrast and shapes all working together’. Vickki’s image is now in the running for the overall Graham Burstow Memorial Award to be announced in December 2026.
