Set Subject: Garden City
|The “garden city” movement is a method of urban planning initiated by Sir Ebenezer Howard in 1898 in the United Kingdom. Garden cities were intended to be planned, self-contained communities surround by “greenbelts”, containing proportionate areas of residences, industry and agriculture. It is also the phrase used to describe Toowoomba. Use your imagination to capture the essence of the “Garden City”.|
