March and April workshops.

This year is “T” for training which makes a change from last year – “C” for Covid.

On Saturday March 13 there will be a studio portraiture workshop at De Molay House.

This workshop takes a maximum of 21 participants.  There will be  lighting set-ups with 3 instructors.  One will be a single lighting set-up with a model, the second with two lights, and the third with 3 lights.  Lighting ratios and other concepts will be explained and you will have the opportunity to practise what you learn.

The newly acquired lighting, flash triggers and units, backdrops etc, that will be demonstrated next Skills Night Tuesday 26, will be used on the day.

On Saturday April 17 at a double seminar room at the Library 3rd floor, the  much awaited Light Room basics course will be conducted.  This will cover how images are handled when imported into LR – the first steps, the various sliders, and an introduction to transformation.

This is limited to 30 participants.

For this one you bring a laptop with Lightroom, preferably LR classic, as this is a hands-on workshop to help you get started, or to answer questions on what has been puzzling you, if like me, you are fairly new to LR.
