Thank You Volunteers

I wanted to thank all our volunteers who put in a lot of work today, in fairly unsavory, hot and uncomfortable conditions, to help raise over $1600 profit for the TPS.

Thank you; REDACTED, Jenny, Val, Sandy, Greg, Graham, Jo A, Dennis, Roberta, Travis, Elsa, Tim, Camilla and Jo C (in no particular order).

Thank you also to those who put their hands up, but were in reserve, hopefully we might take you up on your offer for 29th November, at our next one.

Should we make $1400 at the next, this would equate to our yearly running costs, which is exemplary.

This helps to keep our fees low and for us to equip our Society better with new equipment and more learning opportunities.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

18th October Bunnings Sausage Sizzle Roster

Members, I still need some spaces filled. I realise 4-hours is a big impost on your time, but this is a really great opportunity for TPS to raise needed funds that 2020 has drained away, with little opportunity to refill, due to COVID.If you can please spare some time, that would be greatly appreciated.

Bunnings Sausage Sizzle Day – 18th October

I have just attended the Bunnings BBQ meeting and COVID-19 precautions mean a very different running of this activity.Firstly, for the 18th October activity, we need 6 people per shift of 4-hours. We cannot revolve around positions and there is a large cleaning and sanitising requirement. The positions are; Greeter, Order Taker, Cook, Team Captain and Collector. The final position is Relief. We will need to fill these 12 positions, 6 for the 7:30am – 12pm and 6 more for the 12pm – 4:30pmI realise this is a BIG IMPOST on your time, but I would also suggest that this is a major opportunity to make half of our yearly running costs, in one day. To maximise this result, my company will put in the money for food consumables up to $300. That means we stand to make $1250 from one day’s work. Please be generous with your time. It is only the good work of our volunteers that give us the funds to afford to run our Society in the financial comfort that we have.
